Was browsing through MySpace and ran into this amazing artist, Ray LaMontagne. His voice is just … mmmm yeah, amazing. Check out his song Trouble. It’ll blow your socks off. Seriously, it’s beautiful. And did I mention his voice is amazing?

The 80s were super embarrassing for most of us who lived through it and I’m not sure about you guys but I’d like to get a case of the amnesia when it comes to that particular decade. But due to some random internet surfing I ran into something long since forgotten, at least by me, and I just have to share, because it’s too awesome and too wonderfully embarrassing not to.
Okay so here’s the deal. I spend quite a few summers in Japan in the 80s and 90s and couldn’t help but to be exposed to some epic Japanese pop music while I was there. I might not remember much from those summers in Tokyo but Hikaru Genji was one of the most (embarrassingly) memorable bands from that time that I still remember after like 20 years.

This here is some epic *hit right here.
I mean, come on. Guys in rollerskates singing Japanese pop with English words thrown in there for good measure. Forget your NKOTB, Backstreet Boys and *NSync, I mean these guys did the dance moves with *ucking rollerskates way before any of those bands! There is no contest, Hikaru Genji FTW!
The hilariously sad and weird part? I actually started singing to the chorus after hearing it again… I *ucking remembered the chorus! “Star light, star light…”
There’s so much epic hilarity in this band that I cannot possibly describe it properly, so you must see it for yourself to believe. Prepare to lose … your … *hit because if you think 80s were embarrassing for you, try this for measure:

These Supra Sport Tom Penny Pro Model sneakers look spectacular. Green is my favorite color so this combination of darker green with lime green in suade is very appealing to me. Check out some more details in the pictures below:

I just finished watching Doomsday and not only was it a surprisingly awesome movie, it featured one of my favorite songs … Club Foot by Kasabian. An oldie but a goodie. Check it.
